Palestinians Facing Crime of Apartheid
Decades of indiscriminate human rights violations, domination and oppression carried out by Israel against Palestinian communities.
Amnesty defines apartheid as “inhumane acts carried-out in an institutionalized regime that systematically oppresses and dominates one racial group over another.”
The crimes against humanity experienced by Palestinians are prohibited under the Apartheid Convention, the Rome Statute, including other customary international human rights laws. |

|
DISPOSSESSION
Israeli forces illegally seizing properties, demolishing homes, and forcibly evicting Palestinian home and land owners.
|
SEGREGATION
Israeli-enforced systemic separation of communities promotes discrimination and inferiority of Palestinians.
|
OPPRESSIONThe events of May 2021 represent longstanding discrimination, repression of dissent, killings and injuries designed to privilege Jewish Israelis at the expense of Palestinians.
|
DOMINATIONThe Israeli government states its domination through policies that maximize Jewish control over land.
|
STAND AGAINST DENIAL OF PALESTINIAN RIGHTS
Since East Jerusalem and the West Band became illegally occupied by Israel in 1967, Israeli authorities have continually targeted Palestinians using discriminatory laws for the benefit of Jewish Israelis. As a result, Palestinian families continue being systematically dispossessed of their homes and land. |
