STATEMENT – Justice For All Canada strongly condemns the Israeli army's massacre of 10 Palestinians killed in a Jenin refugee camp. On January 26th, Israeli forces were responsible for an unimaginable atrocity after carrying out another deadly operation. Israeli forces invaded the camp, shooting at victims point-blank in their chest or head.
The murderous troops also invaded a hospital with tear gas, causing suffocation to several children. Emergency services were prevented from entering the refugee camps to provide assistance.
The camp was also inaccessible to news stations or journalists.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau refusing to take a stance is inconsistent with our history of human rights and peacekeeping,” said Taha Ghayyur, Executive Director.
Canada has voted against all legal attempts made by the United Nations (UN) and the International Criminal Court (ICC) to seek justice and accountability. The Canadian government has also supported the apartheid state by declining to adopt recommendations from widely recognized human rights bodies and NGOs, such as Human Rights Watch and Amnesty.
Impact of Israeli Apartheid on Palestinian Refugees
Israeli forces typically target Palestinians through military operations, targeted killings, and arbitrary detention. Israel’s settlement policies in the West Bank have directly led to the displacement and dispossession of Palestinians.
The Israeli government's policies against Palestinians, particularly those in the occupied territories, including Palestinian refugees, closely resemble the apartheid system in South Africa. These policies implemented by Israel – towards Palestinians – include;
Especially for Palestinian refugees, the impact of these policies has been severe. Many Palestinian refugees living in camps for decades have limited access to essential services such as healthcare and education. They are also often subject to restrictions on their movement, making it difficult for them to access job opportunities and other resources.
These Palestinian refugees are not allowed to return to their homes and properties lost during the 1948 war and establishment of the State of Israel.
