Canadian and Palestinian Leaders and Activists Hold Press Conference Addressing Israeli Siege on Gaza Strip and Occupied West Bank
November 7th, 2023
Justice For All Canada, a nonprofit global advocacy organization, along with partnering human rights and civil society organizations, has announced a press conference on Wednesday November 8th at 10 am EST at Parliament Hill to urge the Canadian government to respond to the calls of Canadians who want a ceasefire to prevent further loss of civilian life in Gaza, the Occupied West Bank, and Israel.
Date of Press Conference: Wednesday, November 8th
Time: 10 am EST
Location: 135-B, West Block, Parliament Hill, Ottawa, ON
Speakers:
Since October 7th, over 10,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza, among them more than 3,000 children, and over 3,000 women and girls who have been massacred.
Despite mass calls for an urgent and immediate ceasefire from all manner of human rights organizations, including Amnesty International, Oxfam, and others, the Canadian government continues to abbett the indiscriminate slaughter and collective punishment of civilians in Gaza, an act indisputably considered a war crime. A poll conducted by the National Council of Canadian Muslims indicated that 77% of Canadians demand a ceasefire as opposed to the indiscriminate bombing of children which continues. Clearly, our Prime Minister is out of touch with what human rights organizations are urging for and evidently what the majority of Canadians are calling for.
Justice For All Canada and people of conscience continue urging the Canadian government for the following diplomatic actions;
