|
Starting in October 2023, we launched our Press Conference for Palestine series gathering advocates, allies and experts from all across to speak on the horrifying attacks against Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank and calling Canada to intervene.
For 4 months, our team would regularly highlight the growing death toll and the urgency of the International community to take action. Check out our Press Conference series on Youtube. |

We educated hundreds of Canadians and mobilized communities all across the country. We also launched our 7 Days of Action for Palestine. |
Historical Genocide Report
|
Palestine—Genocide, Apartheid, and Occupation
Justice For All released a critical report which confirms and provides evidence that Israel is committing genocide as part of its military campaign. The intent is evident. It details the decades of persecution and explores the impact of this genocide on Palestinian children. The report was presented during a parliamentary press conference on March 18th, 2024. |

Defending UNRWA and Humanitarian Aid
Following Canada’s decision to suspend funding to UNRWA (Jan 2024), Justice For All Canada called for immediate restoration, citing the dire humanitarian conditions in Gaza. Our collective effort, including broader civil society pressure, led to funding being restored in March 2024. |
Mobilizing for the NDP Ceasefire Motion
|
In response to the March 2024 ceasefire motion in the House of Commons, Justice For All Canada mobilized supporters nationwide to contact MPs, demand full support, and hold parliamentarians accountable. Although the ceasefire did not last, the campaign increased pressure on political parties to take a stance on Gaza.
We continued advocating for recognition of Palestine statehood. |
Canada Imposes Sanctions on Extremist Israeli Settlers
|
Justice For All Canada has been actively calling for the Canadian government to take a stand against settler violence in the occupied West Bank.
We urged Foreign Affairs to impose sanctions against Israeli officials responsible for genocidal violence and increase humanitarian funding for Palestinian victims. On March 17th, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mélanie Joly announced Canada is imposing the first sanctions on extremist Israeli settlers for violence against Palestinian civilians in the West Bank. An additional $40 million in aid (distributed to UNRWA) was also announced) |

Voting for Ceasefire
In December 2023, Canada did not support a UN resolution recognizing Israeli settlements as illegal. In May 2024, During the United Nations General Assembly resolution supporting Palestinian statehood, once again Canada’s vote did not align with the majority.
In a notable shift, Canada voted in favour of a UN resolution in November 2024 condemning Israeli settlements as illegal, its first such vote in over a decade
(as the ICJ had announced in July).
This step reflects Canada’s stated commitment to international law and should translate into stronger support for Palestinian freedom, self-determination, and stronger accountability for illegal settlements.

$99 Million in Funding for Gaza
In March 2025, Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs announced over $99 million in relief and governance support for Gaza and the Occupied West Bank.
We recognize this as a necessary step in upholding Human rights. However, this came after over 17 months of a genocidal onslaught that Canada is complicit in by failing to implement a complete arms embargo.
