2026 Law Student Internship Program

Justice For All Canada is a faith-based human rights and genocide prevention organization.

We are pleased to invite applications for our 2026 Law Student Summer Internship Program. This unique opportunity is open to law students with strong legal research and writing skills who are passionate about international human rights, genocide prevention and advocacy for persecuted Muslim minorities globally.

Program Overview:

The Summer Internship program is designed to provide a meaningful legal experience, as well as mentorship and professional development for students. Students will have the opportunity to contribute to critical advocacy for persecuted minorities across various campaigns, depending on advocacy needs at the time. Our major campaigns include: 


  • Save Palestine
  • Save Uyghurs
  • Burma Task Force (Rohingya)
  • Save India From Fascism
  • Kashmiri Action
  • Indigenous Solidarity

We encourage students to indicate their campaign of preference in their application, which we try to accommodate where possible.

Opportunities for students may include:
​
  • Gain experience working with:
    • International treaties (e.g. the Genocide Convention, Rome Statute, Arms Trade Treaty)
    • Relevant domestic legislation (e.g. Crimes Against Humanity and War Crimes Act, Export and Import Permits Act);
    • Ongoing cases related to our campaigns (e.g. genocide cases before the International Court of Justice, prosecutions at the International Criminal Court, domestic litigation on arms exports to Israel)
  • Observing advocacy-related hearings and events;
  • Analyzing reports from the UN and partner NGOs; and/or
  • Drafting and reviewing advocacy materials.

  • The term of this internship will align with law school terms (e.g. summer term from May - August). Amendments can be made to the term based on individual academic schedules
  • Hours of the internship will be determined in consultation with applicants
  • This is an unpaid internship opportunity
  • This position will be virtual
  • Applicants must have completed at least 1 year of law school from a law school in Canada 
  • Applications will be reviewed holistically on a rolling basis
